Chairman's Message
Icon Hospital was conceived as a dream to make healthcare AVAILABLE, ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE to all sectors of community. A cherished ambition of my compassionate healthcare organization would have not become a reality through magic, but it took sweat, determination, positive attitude and perfectly synchronised team work. To change this passion into reality, I stepped outside my comfort zone at the beginning of 21st century. Since then hitherto, the journey has been challenging and filled with exhilaration of victory. With every challenge we faced, ICON as a team always dug in its heels and has overcome the obstacles with enthusiasm to make ICON a compassionate healthcare organization. Building a bond of trust with patients, community, friends, employees and colleagues was as adventurous as launching a space vehicle. Today we are in an ornate, opulent locality with 60 beds futuristic, avant-garde tertiary healthcare organization with the brand "ICON".

I feel pride in welcoming you to ICON HOSPITAL NAGPUR. Ours is a 60 beds broad array of super specialty health care setup from routine outpatient facilities to advanced ICU care, super speciality surgical services, IVF, Pediatric and Neonatology care, Trauma, Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement, diagnostic and Radiology services, Oncology……….. Etc., serving the community around us.
>Journey started way back in the year 2000, when an idea to provide an excellent health care at affordable cost to society made us to evolve from Katol road Sadar, set up to our own small hospital, ‘Hatwar Nursing Home’ in September 2002, at Ravi Nagar square. Added by certain more affirmative steps and core work for about 14 years, we have progressed to our present destination with 60 beds at ICON Hospital, at K-12, Bharat Nagar, Amravati Road Nagpur. Today sweeping changes are taking place in Health care sector. Several factors are adversely affecting the running of hospitals like heightened awareness among the public, increased regulations and taxations by the government, increased attrition of professionals and paramedical staff and a steep rise in Health Insurance clientele with controlled tariff.
Overcoming these challenges and demographic traits, we at Icon hospital take a cost-effective, balanced, approach to the patient care. We are a dedicated group of medical professionals, bound by ethical principles, committed to deliver high quality, evidence-based services, through a multidisciplinary team approach. To achieve this, we have created an environment that encourages and promotes continuous improvement in the quality and care through professionalism and acquisition of knowledge. We, at Icon, strive to look after all our patients like we would do with our own kith and kin. After all, excellence is a not a destination – but a journey.
